Our approach

The difficulties children encounter in primary school can stem from their failure to pay attention in class or from a lack of organisation. When children start primary school, they enter a different world, full of bigger kids and adults. They learn reading, writing, and arithmetic. This excites their curiosity, but requires concentration and effort. Through private lessons at your home, we help your child learn how to do homework, and we provide a method for studying, so that he or she can do brilliantly at school, from now on.

We also offer courses to prepare students for the CEB (primary school leaving certificate) and to prepare for secondary school.
Our long experience in primary school instruction enables us to tailor our lessons to each child’s needs. Indeed, our Pedagogical Advisors are specifically trained in the different types of learning difficulties that a primary school child may encounter, so as to be able to tailor the coach’s approach to teaching.

Our Pedagogical Advisors are there for you, ready to assess your child’s situation at school and to define the most appropriate type of private lessons. The coach who My Sherpa selects will come to your home to give your child private lessons and will be available as long as your child needs a coach. Together with you, the coach will guide your child along the road to success.
