Obtaining the CEB
The CEB (Certificat d’études de base) is a standard exam all francophone students take at the end of the 6th grade of primary school. It ensures that every student masters the basic subjects before entering secondary school.
Some students find it difficult to pass the test because the questions are sometimes asked in a different way from that of their teachers.
When preparing for the CEB, the coach starts by verifying that your child is competent at French and mathematics. The coach and your child then work on CEB exam exercises from previous years to train for the exam, get your child used to the style of questions, and fill any gaps in his or her knowledge.
